Metal Gear Solid: Grounds Zero Remastered Confirmed For PlayStation Plus In January

The long-awaited Metal Gear solid remake series will finally arrive next month, as Konami has confirmed that an HD remaster of the original game is headed to PS3 and Xbox360. The announcement comes via a tweet from Konamis official Twitter account which reads: We are thrilled to announce that our highly anticipated survival horror title METAL GEAR Solid Grounds Zero Remastered will be available for download on PlayStation Plus in January 2012! This definitive edition includes all previously released content, plus some new features exclusive to PS3 and Xbox360 owners. For those who may not remember, Metal Gear solid: Grounds Zero is a survival horror game developed by Konami's studio Kojima Productions where players take control of Solid Snake as he attempts to uncover the truth behind a mysterious incident at an abandoned nuclear facility called Shadow Moses Base.

The remastered version will feature enhanced graphics and sound effects compared to its original release, plus all previously released DLC content. It also includes improved controls for better gameplay on modern consoles such as PS3 and Xbox360. As for Metal Gear Solid 5: Grounds Zero Remastered being available free of charge through PlayStation Plus, the answer remains unclear at present time but we can only hope that Konami will follow suit with similar offers in future months.
